Certified Payroll Solution Update - Added the City of Kansas City, MO certified payroll report along with the Daily Labor Report and Employee List; as required by the City of Kansas City, Mo.

Modifications to Support Policy - due to an ever growing customer base, we have found it necessary to modify our Support Policy.  These modifications focus on actual "Technical Support" for our software versus QuickBooks training; allowing us to focus on software enhancements. 

Slight pricing increase - due to the ever rising costs of postage and gas; we have slightly increased the prices of software purchases on CD with printed manuals that are shipped either Priority or Express Mail.

QuickBooks 2007 Compatibility Updates and Program Enhancements Update Available.  QuickBookss 2007 is available to pre-order today from Intuit.  We have been testing, making code changes, and adding enhancements for a compatibility update available to new customers and those existing customers who are covered under an Annual Maintenance contract.

Certified Payroll Solution enhancements include:

• QuickBooks 2007 Compatibility update
• Enhanced Backup & Restore function that allows you to automatically create a "zipped" backup of your CPS data every time you close the program - once you have enabled the function
• Calendars have been added to help you accurately input dates
• Michigan DOT and Oregon DOT EEOC Reports have been added

Construction Application for Payment Solution enhancements include:

• Enhanced Backup and Restore function that allows you to automatically create a "zipped" backup of your CAPS data every time you close the program - once you have enabled the function
• Calendars have been added to help you accurately input dates
• Two new plain paper versions of the G-702/G-703 have been added; using Subcontractor/GC/Architect and Subcontractor/GC/Engineer
• An "Invoice" and "Statement" format, each with Continuation Sheets, have also been added

Sunburst Software Solutions, Inc. is one of the first 13 developers to achieve Gold Developer Status in the new Intuit Developer Network program.  Gold Developer status is the highest status currently available and provides QuickBooks users with the assurance of quality, compatibility, and additional product/company reviews by third parties, when considering solutions that integrate with QuickBooks.

In order to achieve QuickBooks Gold Developer status, our software products had to pass a form QuickBooks Technical Review process administered by an independent third party certification laboratory.  The QuickBooks Technical Review process ensures that third party applications meet a high quality standard of operations and compatibility that is expected by customers, while verifying appropriate integrations, data exchange, security, and error handling.  Additionally, an independent third party performed a "Customer Satisfaction Survey" with existing customers, and a ProAdvisor Review is required. 

According to Shannon Adkins, Senior Manager, Developer Engagement & Customer Marketing of the Intuit Developer Network, she stated that the "results of Sunburst's customer satisfaction survey were higher than that of Harley-Davidson or Ford Motor Company".

Certified Payroll Solution Version 5.0.207 Released.   Shipping and Compatibility Updates available beginning today.  If you are a current CPS customer, covered by an Annual Maintenance Contract, you will be notified via email that the update is available for you to download and install.  Enhancements include:

• New U.S. Department of Labor WH-347 form - released by the Federal Government on 5/4/2006 and will expire 4/30/2009.
• Print Mailing Labels for your certified payroll reports
• Set Employee and Job Defaults
• Print "No Work" EEOC Reports

Construction Application for Payment Solution Version 5.9.118 Released.  Shipping and Compatibility Updates available.  If you are a current CAPS customer, covered by an Annual Maintenance Contract, you will be notified via email that the update is available for you to download and install.  Enhancements include:

• All Contract Document templates have been digitally signed to provide fewer problems with various anti-virus software
• The Schedule of Values in the Contract Document Manager has been enhanced to place the entries in a table
• Printer Alignment function for printing on AIA original documents, which you purchase and feed into your printer, has been enhanced.  You may now adjust each individual field
• Ability to "round" lines 4-8 on the Application for Payment G-702
• Add Running Totals and Page Totals to the bottom of the Continuation Sheet G-703
• Insert Subtotal or Create Page Breaks after line items of your choosing on the Continuation Sheet G-703
• Set Job Billing and Printing Defaults
