4/24/09 - Massachusetts Update Available - Include Boston Water & Sewer Commission Certified Payroll Report

An update to the Certified Payroll Solution program, released today in BETA format, is currently  available ONLY to all current customers who reside and/or do business in Massachusetts.

This update includes a new certified payroll report format required by the Boston Water & Sewer Commission which requires LEGAL SIZED PAPER.

To obtain the update.

  • Close QuickBooks
  • Start CPS
  • Make a Backup of your CPS data (Backup & Restore menu -> Enhanced Backup)
  • Go to the Help Menu
  • Choose Check for Updates
  • From the Select an Update drop down menu, choose Version 5.0.340
  • Click the Download & Install button - this updates the program
  • When the update has finished installing
  • Start CPS
  • Go to the Help Menu
  • Choose Check for Updates
  • From the Select an Updaate drop down menu, choose State of Massachusetts form
  • Click the Download and Install button

You may now select the Boston Water & Sewer Commission as a "default" by going ot the System Setup menu -> Defaults -> Job and selecting it here in the Form to Use drop down option.

OR

You may now select this form for specific jobs when setting up new jobs or editing existing jobs from the Form Options tab.

No additional instructions are necessary as this form uses existing data within the CPS job record and no new fields have been added.

BETA versions have been extensively tested by Sunburst Software Solutions, Inc. prior to being released as a BETA to existing customers for further testing.

Trial Users will not have this form until after they purchase and then they may obtain this form via a program update as described above.
