1/27/10 Revised Illinois Tollway EEO Report

The Illinois Tollway has issued a revised Equal Employment Opportunity Form 0003 - Workforce Analysis Report.

Existing customers, who have an active Annual Maintenance Contract for Certified Payroll Solution with Sunburst Software Solutions, Inc., will be contacted notifying them that they can download the necessary update in order to meet the new reporting requirements.

To obtain the update, please follow the instructions below:

• Close QuickBooks
• Start Certified Payroll Solution
  
• Back Up your CPS data (Backup & Restore menu -> Enhanced Backup CPS date -> if there is no information in the top white box, click the big ? in the lower right corner, and follow the instructions found in the program help.  You should be backing up your CPS data)
  
• From the Help menu -> choose Check for Updates - Windows Vista & 7 Users will be prompted to enter the UAC (User Account Control) password
  
• From the Select An Update drop-down menu -> choose Version 5.0.398 (this is a TESTED Beta version, currently being released only to customers in Illinois.  The version number will change at a later date, just download the next higher version)
  
• Click the Download and Install button twice - BE PATIENT while the program downloads and installs the update
  
• Click the Close button when the update has finished installing
  
• New customers and trial users will automatically receive this updated report when they purchase the CPS program, beginning in mid-February.
  

This update MUST be installed on each computer that Certified Payroll Solution is installed on!

Creating the Illinois Tollway Revised Equal Employment Opportunity Form 0003 - Workforce Analysis Report

No additional setup is necessary, simply run the report as you always have by accessing the CPS Run menu -> EEOC Reports -> State Reports -> Illinois tollway EEO Report, click the Header Info button -> in the Default 21.  Narrative box enter a summary of your efforts taken to meet EEOC goals during the current reporting period - you are limited to a total of 244 characters including spaces. This information will ONLY appear for new jobs.  You can copy this information from the default field and paste it into the grid when you are actually ready to print your reports.

NOTE:

This is the actual report Excel-based form created by the Illinois Tollway who has indicated that they will not accept reproductions.  Therefore, we are unable to fix any formatting issues as they have the form password protected.

This version (5.0.398) also includes updates for Missouri, Washington State, New York, and Colorado.
